Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printing method that pretreats a surface of a printing medium with a pretreatment liquid before a printing medium is inkjet printed by oily ink, suppresses penetration of ink into the printing medium and prevents strike-through and bleeding, and thereby improves printing density, which can print a printed matter that suppresses deformation of a printing medium treated with a pretreatment liquid, has high surface concentration of a printed image, causes less strike-through and bleeding and also has good scratch resistance of the printed image.SOLUTION: An inkjet printing method includes applying a pretreatment liquid onto a printing medium, and then performing printing on the printing medium with oily ink containing at least a coloring material and a non-aqueous solvent, where the pretreatment liquid contains at least vapor-phase-process silica particles, a water-soluble polyvinyl acetal resin and an aqueous solvent, and a weight ratio F/R of the vapor-phase-process silica to the polyvinyl acetal resin is 3 to 16.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】油性インクで印刷媒体にインクジェット印刷する前に、印刷媒体の表面を前処理液で前処理して、印刷媒体内へのインクの浸透を抑制して裏抜け及び滲みを防止することにより、印刷濃度を向上させるインクジェット印刷方法において、前処理液で処理した印刷媒体の変形が抑制され、印刷画像の表濃度が高く、裏抜け及び滲みが少ないだけでなく、印刷画像の耐擦過性も良好な印刷物を印刷できるものを提供する。【解決手段】前処理液を印刷媒体上へ塗布した後、色材、及び、非水性溶媒を少なくとも含んでなる油性インクにより前記印刷媒体上に印刷を行うインクジェット印刷方法において、前記前処理液は、気相法シリカ粒子、水溶性のポリビニルアセタール樹脂、及び、水性溶媒を少なくとも含んでなり、且つ、前記ポリビニルアセタール樹脂に対する前記気相法シリカ粒子の重量比率F/Rが3〜16であるインクジェット印刷方法。【選択図】なし
