Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airway obstruction diagnosis method and an airway obstruction diagnosis system based on determination of an airway width.SOLUTION: A method diagnosing airway obstruction in a subject includes the steps of: providing a plurality of cross section ultrasonic images of a portion of an airway while the subject breathes normally, each ultrasonic image having a plurality of pixels and each pixel having a color scale value; selecting a region of interest in each ultrasonic image and calculating a first statistical value; identifying the pixel in each region of interest having a color scale value larger than or equal to each first statistical value and defining each airspace region; calculating each airway width on the basis of distribution of pixels in each airspace region; and classifying a state on airway obstruction in the subject according to a second statistic value acquired by calculation of an airway width.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】気道の幅の判定に基づく気道閉塞診断方法及び気道閉塞診断システムを提供する。【解決手段】被験者における気道閉塞を診断する方法は、被験者が通常通り呼吸している間の気道の一部位の複数の横断面超音波画像を提供し、前記各超音波画像が複数の画素を備え、各画素がカラースケール値を有する工程と、前記各超音波画像内で関心領域が選択され、各第1統計値が算出される工程と、前記各第1統計値より大きい、またはそれに等しいカラースケール値を有する前記各関心領域内の前記画素が識別され、各気腔領域(airspace region)が定義される工程と、前記各気腔領域内の画素の分布に基づいて前記気道の各幅が算出される工程と、前記気道の幅の算出により取得された第2統計値に従って、被験者における気道閉塞に関する状態が分類される工程と、を含む。【選択図】なし |
