PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide decryption of videos by utilizing information representing whether or not texture information on encryption units is encrypted in consideration of hierarchical depth.SOLUTION: A video decryption method includes the steps of: determining one or more encryption units by using division information acquired from a bit stream; acquiring conversion index information showing division of a conversion unit at a present level included in a present encryption unit among the one or more encryption units from the bit stream; dividing the conversion unit at the present level by conversion units at lower levels when the conversion index information shows division of the conversion unit at the present level; and acquiring pattern information about the conversion unit at the present level when the conversion index information shows non-division of the conversion unit at the present level.
