Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electrode sheets and a separator for constituting an electrode body of a power storage element from being folded/bent in a zig-zag like form.SOLUTION: A power storage element (1) according to the present invention comprises: an electrode body (20) having a first electrode sheet (21), a second electrode sheet (22), and a separator (23) individually arranged in parallel with a first direction (D1), of which the first and second electrode sheets are laminated over each other with the separator disposed therebetween in a second direction (D2) at right angles to the first direction; an outer packaging body (2) in which the electrode body is encased; and spacers (41, 42) interposed between the electrode body and inner faces of the outer packaging body. The spacers (41, 42) are disposed outside the electrode body (20) and opposed to each other in the second direction (D2), and have thrusting portions (51, 52, 55, 56) arranged so that each gradually thrusts inwardly in the second direction (D2) toward a leading end in the first direction (D1).
