PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that stably controls the drive of an image carrier.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 comprises: photoreceptor drums 10Y, 10M, 10C, and 10K; drum driving motors that drive to rotate the photoreceptor drums 10Y, 10M, 10C, and 10K; an intermediate transfer body 24; and an intermediate transfer body driving motor that drives to rotate the intermediate transfer body 24.
