Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrometer capable of improving spectrum resolution when measuring a spectrum using a moire.SOLUTION: A spectrometer 100 or 200 for measuring a spectrum of input light comprises: a fringe forming device which forms a first fringe having a first pitch by separating the input light; a diffraction grating 103 for dispersing the first fringe; a moire forming device which forms a moire by superposing the dispersed first fringe on a second fringe having a second pitch different from the first pitch; and an imaging element 107 which measures a spectrum of input light by detecting the moire.
