Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head of an engine capable of suppressing deterioration of heat discharge performance in an operation region in which an engine speed is high.SOLUTION: A thickness of a sprayed film 22 formed on a bottom surface 12 of a cylinder head 10 is not uniform, and a recession 22a is formed on a surface of the sprayed film 22. The recession 22a is formed in correspondence with an annular region shown in the upper part of Fig.1. The thickness of the film in a region other than the region in which the recession 22a is formed is set to be an optimum value to maximize an improvement rate of a net fuel consumption rate. The thickness of the film in the region in which the recession 22a is formed is set to be 30-80% of the optimum value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】エンジン回転速度が高い運転領域での熱排出性の低下を抑えることのできるエンジンのシリンダヘッドを提供する。【解決手段】シリンダヘッド10の底面12に形成される溶射膜22の膜厚は均一でなく、溶射膜22の表面には窪み22aが形成されている。この窪み22aは、図1の上段に示す環状領域に対応して形成されている。窪み22aが形成された領域以外の膜厚は、正味燃料消費率の改善率を最大にする最適値に設定されている。窪み22aが形成された領域の膜厚は、この最適値の30%〜80%に設定されている。【選択図】図1
