Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR device capable of washing away soot adhered to a surface of a tube and preventing deterioration of heat exchange efficiency.SOLUTION: An EGR device 100 recirculates part of exhaust gas discharged from an engine 20 from an exhaust flow passage 33 to an intake flow passage 13. The EGR device 100 includes: an EGR cooler 50 for cooling exhaust gas guided from the exhaust flow passage 33 by using cooling water serving as a refrigerant flowing therein; a bypass flow passage 64 for guiding the exhaust gas that has passed through the EGR cooler 50 to the exhaust flow passage 33; and a bypass on-off valve 65 provided in the bypass flow passage 64 and switching a flow of the exhaust gas passing through the bypass flow passage 64. When an engine cooling water temperature Tw that is a temperature of the refrigerant flowing in the EGR cooler 50 is a predetermined temperature T or lower, the bypass on-off valve 65 is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】チューブの表面に付着した煤を洗い流すことができ、熱交換効率の低下を防止できるEGR装置を提供する。【解決手段】EGR装置100は、エンジン20から排出された排気ガスの一部を排気流路33から吸気流路13に還流させる。EGR装置100は、排気流路33から導かれた排気ガスを、内部を流通する冷媒としての冷却水によって冷却するEGRクーラ50と、EGRクーラ50を通過した排気ガスを排気流路33に導くバイパス流路64と、バイパス流路64に設けられ、バイパス流路64を通過する排気ガスの流れを切り替えるバイパス開閉弁65と、を備える。バイパス開閉弁65は、EGRクーラ50の内部を流通する冷媒の温度であるエンジン冷却水温度Twが所定温度T以下である場合に開かれる。【選択図】図2
