Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser processing device and a laser processing method with which removal efficiency of molten material by laser beam irradiation is improved, and with which the molten material is properly collected.SOLUTION: A laser processing device 1 includes at least: a laser head 3a for irradiating a processing object site of a workpiece 2 with a laser beam 3 to melt a laser beam irradiation section 2a; and a liquid supply nozzle 4a for injecting liquid to a position separated by a prescribed distance from the laser beam irradiation section 2a to form a fluid liquid film 6 on a surface of the workpiece 2.
