Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochromic module excellent in transmissivity and a color change contrast, with less power consumption and excellent durability.SOLUTION: An electrochromic module includes a configuration with a lamination of at least two layers of electrochromic cells each having: first and second substrates arranged facing each other at an interval; first and second electrodes disposed on the first and second substrates; a first electrochromic layer containing an oxidation type electrochromic compound formed on the first electrode; a second electrochromic layer containing a reduction type electrochromic compound formed on the second electrode; and an electrolyte disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. Each substrate on the upper and lower surfaces is the first substrate. At least one of the first substrates on the upper and lower surfaces is transparent. A substrate other than the first substrates on the upper and lower surfaces is transparent.
