PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device that can adjust an exhaust direction without reducing exhaust efficiency.SOLUTION: The image projection device that performs image projection using light from a light source, comprises exhaust means such as an exhaust fan 71 for exhausting air warmed by a heat source such as an optical engine 15 within a device body, an air exhaust such as an air exhaust 75 that exhausts the warmed air to the outside of the device body, exhaust direction changing means such as a first switch 72 or a second switch 73 that changes an exhaust direction from the air exhaust, and a light source such as a light source unit 60.
