Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the potential of a surface of a photoreceptor drum accurately in a short time to reduce the occurrence of an image defect.SOLUTION: A control part S controls the operation of an exposure device 3 so that a charged image carrier 1 is exposed at a predetermined amount of exposure, takes the difference between a target value and a measured value after the image carrier 1 is exposed as an error caused by a measuring member 5, corrects the measured value on the basis of the error caused by the measuring member 5, and controls a voltage to be applied to a charging member 2 to a predetermined voltage on the basis of the corrected measured value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】短時間に、精度良く、感光ドラム表面の電位を測定し、画像不良が生じることを抑制する。【解決手段】制御部Sは、帯電された像担持体1が所定の露光量で露光されるように露光装置3の動作を制御し、像担持体1が露光された後の目標値と測定値との差を、測定部材5に起因する誤差として、測定部材5に起因する誤差に基づいて測定値を補正し、補正された測定値に基づいて、帯電部材2に印加される電圧を所定の電圧に制御する。【選択図】図1 |
