PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent composition for food products, medical drug, animal food or the like by using β-glucan and extract of beans in combination.SOLUTION: β-glucan and extract of beans are used as active ingredients of a composition for enhancing thrombospondin-1 gene expression. Further, β-glucan and extract of beans are used for producing the composition for enhancing thrombospondin-1 gene expression. It is preferable that the β-glucan be derived from microorganism which belongs to Aureobasidium sp. The composition is preferably used for food products, medical drug, or animal food.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】β−グルカンと豆類抽出物とを併用することにより、優れた食品用、医薬用、動物食餌用等の組成物を提供する。【解決手段】β−グルカンと豆類抽出物とを、トロンボスポンジン１遺伝子発現亢進用組成物の有効成分として用いる。また、β−グルカンと豆類抽出物とを、トロンボスポンジン１遺伝子発現亢進用組成物の製造のために用いる。前記β−グルカンは、アウレオバシジウム属（Aureobasidium sp.）に属する微生物に由来するものであることが好ましい。この組成物は、食品用、医薬用、又は動物食餌用などに好適に用いられる。【選択図】 なし
