Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator capable of more accurately detecting an abnormality of groove wear amount of a governor pulley.SOLUTION: An elevator includes: a car; a governor rotating in cooperation with the car; a governor rotary encoder 11 mounted to a shaft of the governor pulley and generating a pulse signal through the rotation of the governor pulley; a position sensor mounted to the car to detect a plurality of shield plates in a hoistway; a storage section 14 in which the pulse count number of the governor rotary encoder while the position sensor is passing through the plurality of shield plates during a floor height measuring operation of the elevator is stored as an initial value; and a comparison section 15 for comparing the initial value stored in the storage section with the pulse count number of the governor rotary encoder while the position sensor is passing through the plurality of shield plates during normal traveling of the elevator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ガバナプーリの溝摩耗量異常をより正確に検出することが出来るエレベータを提供する。【解決手段】乗りかごと、乗りかごと連動して回転するガバナと、ガバナプーリの軸に取り付けられ、ガバナプーリの回転によってパルス信号を発生するガバナロータリーエンコーダ11と、乗りかごに取り付けられ昇降路内の複数の遮蔽板を検出する位置検出器と、エレベーターの階高測定運転時に複数の遮蔽板を位置検出器が通過している間のガバナロータリーエンコーダのパルスカウント数が初期値として格納される記憶部14と、記憶部に格納された初期値とエレベーター通常走行時に複数の遮蔽板を位置検出器が通過している間のガバナロータリーエンコーダのパルスカウント数を比較する比較部15とを有する。【選択図】図2
