Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator capable of maintaining a necessary gas outflow speed.SOLUTION: In the gas generator, a cup-shaped deflector 50 is disposed at the side of a pressurized gas filling chamber 40 in a second rupture disk 42. The cup-shaped deflector 50 has a gas passage port 55 on a peripheral face part 51 and has a fragile part 56 on at least one of a bottom face part 52 and the peripheral face part 51. The bottom face part 52 is located at the side of a first rupture disk 41 and is disposed so that an opening 53 covers the second rupture disk 42 and besides, the peripheral face part 51 is arranged so that a cylindrical clearance 59 is formed between that face part and the inner peripheral wall face 10c of a cylindrical housing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
