PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image formation apparatus from performing the printing operation in a situation that must be silent, and automatically stop the image formation apparatus quickly even if the printing operation is performed.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus includes: a printing unit; a storage unit which stores specific pattern data; a sound collection unit which outputs an analog electric signal of sound information; an encoding unit which converts the analog electric signal into sound information data; a determination processing unit which determines whether or not the sound corresponding to the specific pattern data is played on the basis of the degree of matching between the sound information data and the specific pattern data; and a control unit which turns the printing unit into the printing prohibition state when the determination processing unit determines that the sound corresponding to the specific pattern data is played, and maintains the printing prohibition state until the release condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】静かにすべき状況で画像形成装置に印刷動作を行わせず、動作していても速やかに自動停止させる。【解決手段】画像形成装置は、印刷部、特定パターンデータを記憶する記憶部、音情報のアナログ電気信号を出力する集音部、アナログ電気信号を音情報データにデータ化する符号化部、音情報データと特定パターンデータと一致の程度に基づき特定パターンデータに対応する音が流れているか否かを判定する判定処理部、判定処理部が特定パターンデータに対応する音が流れていると判定したとき、印刷部を印刷禁止状態とし、解除条件が満たされるまで印刷禁止状態を維持する制御部を含む。【選択図】図７
