PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device which can surely drop a side edge removed from a sheet to a storage part and provide an image formation system.SOLUTION: A post-processing device includes: side edge removal means which removes the side edge of a sheet; a side edge storage part which stores the side edge of the sheet removed by the side edge removal means; side edge action means which acts on the removed side edge to move at least a portion of the side edge. The side edge action means is the side edge removal means which reciprocally moves in the direction intersecting the conveyance direction of the sheet, and drops the removed side edge by moving between the outer most side and the inner most side of the movement range in the reciprocal movement direction after removing the side edge of the sheet. The side edge action means is also a scraping-out member which scrapes out the side edge by acting on one end of the side edge removed by the side edge removal means and remaining on the upper side of the side edge storage part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】用紙から除去された側縁を確実に収容部に落下させることができる後処理装置及び画像形成システムを提供する。【解決手段】用紙の側縁を除去する側縁除去手段と、側縁除去手段で除去される用紙の側縁を収容する側縁収容部と、除去された側縁に作用して少なくとも側縁の一部を動かす側縁作用手段と、を備え、側縁作用手段は、用紙の搬送方向と交差する方向に往復移動する側縁除去手段であり、用紙の側縁を除去した後、往復移動方向における移動範囲の最外側と最内側の間で移動して除去された側縁を落下させる。また、側縁作用手段は、側縁除去手段で除去されて側縁収容部の上方に滞留した側縁の一端に作用して側縁を掻き出す掻き出し部材である。【選択図】図５
