Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device which can discard the side edge removed from a sheet during execution of the post-processing operation, and provide an image formation system.SOLUTION: A post-processing device includes: side edge removal means which removes the side edge of a sheet; a side edge storage part which can store the side edge of the sheet removed by the side edge removal means and be drawn from the device body; a guide plate which is inclined in the direction intersecting the movement direction of the side edge, and guides the side edge removed by the side edge removal means to the side edge storage part while guiding it along the movement direction of the side edge; and a second guide plate which is arranged between the side edge storage part and the guide plate, and can be deformed into the first form having the mountain-shaped inclined surface whose both ends along the movement direction of the side edge are lower than the center part in conjunction with the drawing operation of the side edge storage part, and into the second form having the valley-shaped inclined surface whose both ends are higher than the center part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
