Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual amount calculation device capable of accurately calculating a battery residual amount even in a vehicle adopting IDS control.SOLUTION: An ECU integrates a charge amount to a battery with generated electric power of an alternator and a discharge amount from the battery due to the supply of operation electric power to an electric load, etc. A battery residual amount being the charge residual amount of the battery is calculated by the integration. The calculated battery residual amount is stored in a memory. When a predetermined IDS return condition is established during an idling stop, a starter is operated and an engine is restarted concerning IDS control. When the engine is restarted by IDS control (S21:YES), a discharge amount error in consideration of power consumption of a starter is subtracted from a charge residual amount stored in the memory (S22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】IDS制御を採用した車両においても、バッテリ残量を精度よく算出できる、バッテリ残量算出装置を提供する。【解決手段】ECUにより、オルタネータの発電電力によるバッテリへの充電量と電気負荷などへの動作電力の供給によるバッテリからの放電量とが積算される。この積算により、バッテリの充電残量であるバッテリ残量が算出される。算出されたバッテリ残量は、メモリに記憶される。IDS制御では、アイドリングストップ中に所定のIDS復帰条件が成立すると、スタータが作動されて、エンジンが再始動される。IDS制御によるエンジンの再始動時には(S21:YES)、メモリに記憶されている充電残量からスタータの消費電力を考慮した放電量誤差が減算される(S22)。【選択図】図4
