Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual amount calculation device capable of accurately calculating a battery residual amount when a battery residual amount calculation operation is restarted after a stop state of the operation.SOLUTION: An ECU integrates a charge amount to a battery with generated electric power of an alternator and a discharge amount from the battery due to the supply of action electric power to an electric load, etc. A battery residual amount being the charge residual amount of the battery is calculated by the integration. The calculated battery residual amount is stored in a memory. In a case where a time (an OFF time) of an OFF state of an ignition key switch before a restart of an operation of the ECU is equal to or more than a predetermined time (S24:YES) when the operation of the ECU is restarted after the ignition key switch is switched from OFF to ON (S23), an estimation discharge amount in consideration of power consumption of the electric load during the stop of the operation is subtracted from the battery residual amount stored in the memory (S25).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】バッテリ残量の算出の動作が停止した状態から再開される際に、バッテリ残量を精度よく算出できる、バッテリ残量算出装置を提供する。【解決手段】ECUにより、オルタネータの発電電力によるバッテリへの充電量と電気負荷などへの動作電力の供給によるバッテリからの放電量とが積算される。この積算により、バッテリの充電残量であるバッテリ残量が算出される。算出されたバッテリ残量は、メモリに記憶される。イグニッションキースイッチがオフからオンにされて(S23)、ECUの動作が再開される際に、それまでのイグニッションキースイッチがオフになっていた時間(オフ時間)が所定時間以上である場合(S24:YES)、メモリに記憶されているバッテリ残量から動作停止中における電気負荷の消費電力を考慮した推定放電量が減算される(S25)。【選択図】図3
