Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resolution of a projection image on a projection surface due to an assembly position error of a reflector.SOLUTION: In an image projection device such as a projector 1, projection image light is generated at an image generation element such as DMD 26 according to image data using light from a light source and passes through a projector lens 32. The projection image light having passed is reflected at a reflector such as a curved mirror 44 held by an inflection mirror surface and is imaged at a projection surface 101. The image projection device includes: a holding member such as a projection housing 45 holding the reflector; and an adjustment mechanism such as an adjustment cam pin 71 configured to displace the holding member so that an optical axis position of light incident on the reflector changes on a reflection surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】反射鏡の組付け位置誤差による投射面上の投射画像の解像度を良好にすることができる。【解決手段】光源の光を用いて画像データに基づきDMD26等の画像生成素子で生成された投射画像光が投射レンズ32を通過し、その通過した投射画像光を湾曲ミラー面のもつ曲面ミラー44等の反射鏡で反射させて投射面101で結像させるプロジェクタ1等の画像投射装置において、反射鏡を保持する投射ハウジング45等の保持部材と、反射鏡に入射する光の光軸位置が反射面上で変わるよう保持部材を変位させる調整カムピン71等の調整機構とを有する。【選択図】図8
