Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection device capable of preventing a noise from occurring when performing a pixel shift control.SOLUTION: An image projection device 1 includes: a light source 30 configured to emit light; an image display unit 50 having a DMD 551 configured to form an image using light from the light source 30; an optical part (an illumination optical system unit 40, a projection optical system unit 60) to guide the light from the light source 30 to the image display unit 50 while enlarging and projecting the image formed by the image display unit 50; driving means (a movable unit 55) configured to periodically deviate at least part of the DMD 551 or the optical part; and a fan 20 configured to cool at least part of an inside of the image projection device 1.
