Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that, when there is a traffic jam, eliminates the need of a user's operation for changing the scale of a map.SOLUTION: A display control device 1 comprises an acquisition part 12 and a control part 14. The acquisition part 12 acquires traffic information including a traffic range that is a range related to at least any one of a traffic jam and traffic regulation, and the current position of a vehicle. The control part 14, when predetermined conditions related to the traffic range included in the traffic information acquired by the acquisition part 12 and the current position acquired by the acquisition part 12 are satisfied, performs automatic scaling control of automatically controlling the scale of a map displayed on a display part 41 on the basis of the traffic information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】渋滞等がある場合に地図の縮尺の変更にユーザの操作が不要な技術を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】表示制御装置1は、取得部12と制御部14とを備える。取得部12は、渋滞及び交通規制の少なくともいずれか1つに関する範囲である交通範囲を含む交通情報と、車両の現在位置とを取得する。制御部14は、取得部12で取得された交通情報に含まれる交通範囲と、取得部12で取得された現在位置とに関する予め定められた条件が満たされる場合に、交通情報に基づいて、表示部41に表示される地図の縮尺を自動的に制御する自動縮尺制御を行う。【選択図】図1
