Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container ship with a loading capacity increased to load a large quantity of refrigeration containers (reefers).SOLUTION: A hull comprises a plurality of transverse bulkheads 16, 17 that longitudinally divide a cargo hold into a plurality of container bays. Each transverse bulkhead is associated with a box type beam 20, and each box type beam extends over the full width of the hull to connect side parts of the upper edge of the hull or in a vicinity of the upper edge. The box type beam has a hollow rectangular cross section having four side faces 25, 26. Out of four side faces in at least one of the box type beams, at least one side face 26 facing the container bays is provided with an array of maintenance opening parts 22, and adjacent maintenance opening parts in the array are separated with a pitch P to make the shape and size of the maintenance opening part sufficient for access and maintenance, via the maintenance opening part, to the cooling unit of a refrigeration composite transportation container that faces the maintenance opening part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】大量の冷凍コンテナ(リーファー)を積載するための積載能力を増大させたコンテナ船を提供する。【解決手段】船体は、貨物倉を長手方向に複数のコンテナベイへと分割する複数の横隔壁16、17を備える。各横隔壁に箱型梁20が関連付けられ、各箱型梁は船体の全幅に延在し、船体の上縁または上縁付近において船体の側部間を接続する。箱型梁は、4つの側面25、26を有する中空の矩形断面を有する。箱型梁の少なくとも1つにおける4つの側面のうち、コンテナベイに面する少なくとも1つの側面26に、一列の整備用開口部22が設けられ、列内の隣接する整備用開口部間はピッチPで離間され、整備用開口部の形状およびサイズは、整備用開口部に面する、冷凍複合輸送コンテナの冷却ユニットに、該整備用開口部を介してアクセスし整備できるようなものである。【選択図】図6
