Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical holding device of a magnetic contactor capable of operating the close operation for moving a movable part to a close holding position, and the release operation for tripping a latch mechanism with one same closing coil.SOLUTION: A magnetic contactor 1 includes an electromagnet unit having a movable core driven to advance and retreat between first and second positions on a straight line, and a latch mechanism 2 having a cam member 31 the medial axis of which is aligned with the straight line, and physical relationship of which with the fixed core of the electromagnet unit is fixed, heart-shaped cam grooves 32 formed in the opposite faces of the cam member 31, and a cam pin 36 interlocked with the movable core to rotary move the cam grooves 32. When the rotary movement of the cam pin 36 matches movement of the movable core on the straight line, a movable part 12 is interlocked and driven to move between a release position and close holding position. By driving the movable core in the order of the first position, second position and first position, the cam pin 36 is moved in the circumferential direction of the cam groove 32, and open/close of a movable contactor is switched.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】可動部を投入保持位置に移動させる投入動作とラッチ機構を引き外す釈放動作とを同じ一つの投入コイルで操作可能とした電磁接触器の機械的保持装置を提供する。【解決手段】電磁接触器1は、直線上の第1位置および第2位置を進退駆動する可動コアを有する電磁石ユニットと、前記直線と中心軸が一致するとともに電磁石ユニットの固定コアと位置関係が固定されるカム部材31、カム部材31の両面に形成されたハート形のカム溝32、及び可動コアと連動してカム溝32を回転移動するカムピン36を有するラッチ機構2とを備える。可動部12は、カムピン36の回転移動と可動コアの直線上の動きとが一致したときに連動して駆動されて釈放位置と投入保持位置との間を移動する。可動コアを第1位置、第2位置、第1位置の順番に駆動することで、カムピン36をカム溝32の周方向に移動させ、可動接触子の接点の開閉を切り替える。【選択図】図1
