Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer which has excellent solvent power to a portion to be removed and makes it difficult to swell a relief portion, in a development step of making a resin letterpress plate using various printing plate materials.SOLUTION: A developer is used in resin letterpress plate making, contains naphthenic hydrocarbon and paraffin hydrocarbon, and an alcohol component, where a content of the naphthenic hydrocarbon is 40-90 wt.% with respect to the total weight of the developer.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 各種印刷版材料を使用して樹脂凸版を製版する現像工程において、除去すべき部分に対して優れた溶解力を有し、かつレリーフ部を膨潤させ難い現像液を提供すること。【解決手段】 樹脂凸版の製版時に使用する現像液であり、ナフテン系炭化水素及びパラフィン系炭化水素と、アルコール成分とを含み、現像液の全重量を基準として、上記ナフテン系炭化水素の含有量が４０〜９０重量％である現像液を構成する。【選択図】なし
