Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition in which the amount of DPG used is reduced or DPG is not used, and a vulcanization rate and rubber characteristics are equivalent to or better than those in the case of blending DPG and in conventional cases.SOLUTION: The rubber composition includes 30 to 100 pts.mass of silica, 0.5 to 4.0 pts.mass of a vulcanization accelerator including a base of less than pKa11 and a benzothiazole compound, 0.1 pt.mass or less of a vulcanization accelerator including a base of pKa11 or more, and 2.0 pts.mass or less of zinc white, with respect to 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber component. In the rubber composition, the molar ratio of the total molar number of the base of less than pKa11 with respect to the total molar number of benzothiazolyl group in the vulcanization accelerator (molar ratio of total molar number of base of less than pKa11/total molar number of benzothiazolyl group) is 1.2 or less. The rubber composition further includes sulfur. In the rubber composition, the ratio of a polysulfide bond to a monosulfide bond, a disulfide bond, and a polysulfide bond formed by sulfur crosslinking (ratio of polysulfide bond/{total sum of monosulfide bond, disulfide bond, and polysulfide bond}) is 0.5 to 0.9.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】DPGの使用量を削減するか、又は使用しないゴム組成物であって、DPGを配合した場合と加硫速度やゴム特性が従来と同レベルかそれ以上であるゴム組成物を提供する。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴム成分100質量部に対して、シリカを30〜100質量部、pKa11未満の塩基及びベンゾチアゾール化合物を含む加硫促進剤を0.5〜4.0質量部、pKa11以上の塩基を含む加硫促進剤を0.1質量部以下、亜鉛華を2.0質量部以下で含み、前記加硫促進剤における、ベンゾチアゾリル基の総モル数に対するpKa11未満の塩基の総モル数のモル比(pKa11未満の塩基の総モル数/ベンゾチアゾリル基の総モル数のモル比)が1.2以下であり、さらに、硫黄を含み、硫黄架橋により形成されるモノスルフィド結合、ジスルフィド結合及びポリスルフィド結合のうちポリスルフィド結合の比率(ポリスルフィド結合/{モノスルフィド結合、ジスルフィド結合及びポリスルフィド結合の総和}の比)が0.5〜0.9である、ゴム組成物である。【選択図】なし
