Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic substance decomposition apparatus and an organic substance decomposition method, by which a facility for producing a fluid product can be promptly deodorized.SOLUTION: The organic substance decomposition apparatus 1 includes: a supply pipe 120 through which a cleaning liquid is supplied to a facility F to be cleaned; a recovery pipe 110 through which the cleaning liquid is recovered; an ozone treatment portion 20 that allows ozone to act on the recovered cleaning liquid; a degassing portion 20 that performs degassing of the cleaning liquid; and a heating apparatus 80. The heating apparatus 80 heats the cleaning liquid so that the inlet temperature of the ozone treatment portion 20 is 50°C or more. The organic substance decomposition apparatus 1 resupplies, to the facility F to be cleaned, the cleaning liquid of which the degassing has been performed. The organic substance decomposition method includes: a step of allowing ozone to act on a cleaning liquid recovered from a facility F to be cleaned; a step of performing degassing of the cleaning liquid; a step of heating the cleaning liquid; and a step of resupplying the cleaning fluid to the facility F to be cleaned.
