Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time to clean a secondary transfer outer roller 64 and an electric feeder roller 68.SOLUTION: A high-voltage power supply 120 can apply a voltage to an electric feeder roller 68. An elastic blade of a roller cleaning device 70 cleans a surface of the electric feeder roller 68 at a position different from a contact position between a secondary transfer outer roller 64 and the electric feeder roller 68. A control part 110 can execute a secondary transfer cleaning mode at a timing at which toner images are not transferred by a secondary transfer part T2. The secondary transfer cleaning mode rotates the secondary transfer outer roller 64 and electric feeder roller 68 and applies, with the high-voltage power supply 120, only a voltage having either polarity of a positive polarity ora negative polarity to the electric feeder roller 68.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】二次転写外ローラ64及び給電ローラ68の清掃時間の短縮化を図る。【解決手段】高圧電源120は、給電ローラ68に電圧を印加可能である。ローラクリーニング装置70の弾性ブレードは、二次転写外ローラ64と給電ローラ68の当接位置とは異なる位置で、給電ローラ68の表面を清掃する。制御部110は、二次転写部T2でトナー像を転写しないタイミングで、二次転写クリーニングモードを実行可能である。二次転写クリーニングモードは、二次転写外ローラ64及び給電ローラ68を回転させると共に、高圧電源120により給電ローラ68に正極性と負極性のうちの一方の極性の電圧のみを印加する。【選択図】図1
