PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stably a highly reliable inspection result, when inspecting gear omission.SOLUTION: According to one embodiment, a gear omission detector 50 for detecting gear omission of a transmission at the inspection time of the transmission 1 is provided. The transmission includes a shift lever 2 operable in a select direction and in a shift direction in order to change a gear in the transmission.
