Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for a peripheral weld zone that enables the size of a defect in a peripheral weld zone to be calculated with high accuracy regardless of a region where the defect is present.SOLUTION: The inspection method includes: generating a first X-ray image using an X-ray inspection machine (an X-ray source 412a and an X-ray image detector 413a) being at an initial position, extracting a first defect region FA, and calculating the size thereof; generating a second X-ray image using the X-ray inspection machine (an X-ray source 412b and an X-ray image detector 413b) having been rotated by a predetermined angle β from the initial position, and extracting a second defect region FB corresponding to the first defect region; comparing the position of the first defect position with the position of the second defect region, thereby determining in which of a part on an X-ray source side and a part on an X-ray image detector side at a peripheral weld zone a defect F corresponding to the first defect region is present; lastly deciding a correction coefficient corresponding to the part where the defect F is present, and multiplying the size of the first defect region by the correction coefficient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】周溶接部における欠陥の存在する部位に関わらず、精度良く欠陥の寸法を算出可能な周溶接部の検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】検査方法は、初期位置にあるX線検査機(X線源412a及びX線画像検出器413a)を用いて第1X線画像を生成し、第1欠陥領域FAを抽出し、寸法を算出する。次に、初期位置から所定角度βだけ回転させた後のX線検査機(X線源412b及びX線画像検出器413b)を用いて第2X線画像を生成し、第1欠陥領域に対応する第2欠陥領域FBを抽出する。次に、第1欠陥領域の位置と第2欠陥領域の位置とを比較することで、第1欠陥領域に対応する欠陥Fが、周溶接部のX線源側の部位及びX線画像検出器側の部位のうち何れの部位に存在するかを判定する。最後に、欠陥Fの存在する部位に応じた補正係数を決定し、第1欠陥領域の寸法に対して乗算する。【選択図】図6 |
