PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic which can simultaneously impart a semi-permanent or permanent shape with little damage to the hair and dye the hair and is also excellent in dyed color fastness.SOLUTION: There is provided a one-component or a mult-component hair cosmetic which comprises the following components (A) to (D): (A) a compound selected from glyoxylic acid, a glyoxylic acid hydrate, a glyoxylic acid salt and glyoxylamide, (B) a phenol compound having an electron-donating group at least one site at the meta-position in which at least one site at the ortho-position or para position is H (the electron-donating group at the meta-position may form a benzene ring which may be substituted with OH together with the adjacent carbon atoms), (C) a direct dye and (D) water.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】毛髪へのダメージが少ない半永久的ないし永久的な形状付与と染毛が同時にでき、しかも染色堅牢性にも優れる毛髪化粧料の提供。【解決手段】成分(A)〜(D)を含有する１剤式又は多剤式の毛髪化粧料。(A)：グリオキシル酸、グリオキシル酸水和物、グリオキシル酸塩及びグリオキシルアミドから選ばれる化合物(B)：メタ位の少なくとも１ヶ所に電子供与基を有し、オルト位とパラ位の少なくとも一か所がＨであるフェノール化合物（メタ位の電子供与基は隣接するＣ原子と共にＯＨが置換してもよいベンゼン環を形成してもよい）(C)：直接染料(D)：水【選択図】なし
