PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound generator capable of outputting an excellent sound in accordance with a situation.SOLUTION: A sound generator is constructed by a piezoelectric vibration part 60 including a piezo electric element 61, and a main body 20 of a mobile phone acting as a spindle applying a weight to the piezoelectric vibration part 60. A detection part detects two states of a driving permissive state of permitting the driving of the piezo electric element 61 and a driving rejection state of rejecting the piezo electric element 61. A control part controls application of a sound signal in accordance with the two states. By applying the sound signal to the piezo electric element 61 from the control part in the state where the weight from the main body 20 is applied to the piezoelectric vibration part 60, the piezoelectric vibration part 60 is deformed, a contact surface 150 to which the mobile phone is contacted is oscillated by the deformation of the piezoelectric vibration part 60, and a sound is generated from the contact surface 150.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 【課題】状況に応じて良好な音を出力可能な音発生器を提供する。【解決手段】音発生器は圧電素子６１を有する圧電振動部６０と、圧電振動部６０に荷重を与える錘として作用する携帯電話機の本体２０からなる。検出部は、圧電素子６１の駆動を許容する駆動許容状態と、圧電素子６１の駆動を拒否する駆動拒否状態との、２つの状態を検出する。制御部は、２つの状態に応じて音信号の印加を制御する。圧電振動部６０に本体２０からの荷重が与えられた状態で、制御部から圧電素子６１に音信号を印加することで圧電振動部６０が変形し、圧電振動部６０の変形により携帯電話機が接触する接触面１５０を振動させて、接触面１５０から音を発生させる。【選択図】図１２
