Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording element substrate and liquid discharge head which can suppress deterioration of recording quality caused by a white stripe and black stripe or the like without using an advanced microfabrication technology.SOLUTION: A plate member is restrained asymmetrically by separating a pair of energy generation elements by a first wall in a flow channel in which a liquid flows, and a recording element, of which an inclination direction of a discharge direction of liquid droplets is made different by asymmetrically deforming by swelling, is mixed and arrayed in a direction of relatively moving with respect to the recording medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】高度な微細加工技術を用いることなく、白スジ・黒スジ等による記録品位の低下を抑制することができる記録素子基板および液体吐出ヘッドを提供する。【解決手段】液体が流れる流路において、一組のエネルギー発生素子を第一壁により隔てることにより、プレート部材に対し、非対称に拘束する構成とし、記録媒体と相対移動する方向において、膨潤によって非対称に変形することで、液滴の吐出方向の傾斜の向きが異なる記録素子を混在させて配列する。【選択図】図3
