PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid collision among persons right after a door is opened and secure safety, without destroying an advertisement effect as much as possible.SOLUTION: An image projection device comprises: an image input unit that inputs image signals regarding images; a projection unit that projects the image to a light transmittance screen; and a control unit that controls projection of the image in the projection unit in accordance with a detection signal to be output respectively from a first detection unit detecting persons located on an image projection face side of the screen and a second detection unit detecting persons located on an opposite face side of the image projection face side of the screen.
