Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a power storage device, by which generation of foreign matters from an electrode can be suppressed in positioning.SOLUTION: An electrode assembly is manufactured by forming a positive electrode shock absorbing part 27 on a positive electrode 21, and forming a negative electrode shock absorbing part 37 on a negative electrode 31, and letting the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 31 fall to a lamination part 55 with the positive electrode shock absorbing part 27 and the negative electrode shock absorbing part 37 down, in which the fall of the positive electrode 21 and the negative electrode 31 is restricted by forcing the shock absorbing parts 27, 37 to abut against a positioning part 59.
