Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high battery voltage to improve drive capability without increasing the size of an electric work machine in the electric work machine which is supplied with electric power from a battery to operate.SOLUTION: An electric work machine includes: a motor; a transmission part which transmits rotation of the motor to an output shaft; a driving part for receiving electric power supply from a battery and energizing the motor; a control part which controls driving of the motor through the driving part in accordance with instructions from an exterior part; and a detection part which detects a motor current flowing through the motor through the driving part. The control part controls driving of the motor so that the motor current detected by the detection part becomes lower than or equal to an upper limit current value preset for protecting the transmission part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】バッテリから電力供給を受けて動作する電動作業機において、電動作業機の大型化を招くことなく、バッテリ電圧を高くして駆動能力を高めることができるようにする。【解決手段】モータと、モータの回転を出力軸に伝達する伝達部と、バッテリから電力供給を受けてモータへ通電するための駆動部と、外部からの指令に従い駆動部を介してモータを駆動制御する制御部と、駆動部を介してモータに流れるモータ電流を検出する検出部とを備える。制御部は、検出部にて検出されたモータ電流が、伝達部を保護するために予め設定された上限電流値以下となるようモータを駆動制御する。【選択図】図2
