The projector 3 emits light. The beam splitter 4 divides a beam of light L, which has been emitted from the projector 3 and has passed the monitoring region 2, into plural beams of light La, Lb. The optical receiver 5 is used for detecting plural beams of light La, Lb divided by the beam splitter. Each of the plural optical receivers 5a, 5b is provided corresponding to each beam of light La, Lb divided by the beam splitter 4. Thus, the beam of light L emitted from the projector 3 is divided into the plural beams of light La, Lb by the beam splitter 4 after passing the monitoring region 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】監視領域を光線で監視する安全装置において、受光器を容易に多重化する。【解決手段】安全装置1は、所定の監視領域2を光線で監視する装置であり、投光器3と、ビームスプリッタ4と、複数の受光器5(5a、5b)と、制御部6とを備える。投光器3は、光を出射する。ビームスプリッタ4は、投光器3から出射されて監視領域2を通過した光線Lを複数の光線La、Lbに分ける。受光器5は、ビームスプリッタで分けられた複数の光線La、Lbを検知するためのものである。複数の受光器5a、5bの各々は、ビームスプリッタ4で分けられた各々の光線La、Lbに対応して設けられる。これにより、投光器3から出射された光線Lは、監視領域2を通過後にビームスプリッタ4によって複数の光線La、Lbに分けられる。【選択図】図1
