Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of electric erosion more reliably, while guaranteeing the fastening fore of a core wire.SOLUTION: In a wire X with terminal including a covered electric wire 10 where a core wire 11 is covered with an insulation coating 12, a terminal 20 having a wire barrel 23 crimped to the exposed core wire 11 at the terminal of the covered electric wire 10, and an anticorrosive agent 35 applied to cover the periphery of a crimped wire barrel 23, the wire barrel 23 has such a shape that a pair of barrel pieces 23B are formed while extending from the opposite side edges of a bottom plate. The core wire 11 is placed on the bottom plate while keeping the tip of the core wire 11 behind the front edge of the barrel pieces 23B, and the pair of barrel pieces 23B are crimped in curved state as if embracing the core wire 11 while abutting the extension end sides of respective barrel pieces 23B, and at the front edge of crimped wire barrel 23, a core wire confirmation opening 30 is formed by spreading the corresponding interval of the butt portion of the pair of barrel pieces 23B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】芯線の固着力を担保した上で、電食の発生をより確実に防止する。【解決手段】芯線11が絶縁被覆12で覆われた被覆電線10と、被覆電線10の端末部における露出された芯線11に圧着されるワイヤバレル23を有する端子20と、圧着されたワイヤバレル23の回りを覆って付着される防食剤35と、が具備された端子付き電線Xであって、ワイヤバレル23は、底板の両側縁から一対のバレル片23Bが延出形成された形状をなし、底板には、芯線11が芯線11の先端をバレル片23Bの前縁よりも後方に控えて載置されているとともに、一対のバレル片23Bは各バレル片23Bの延出端側が突き合わされつつ芯線11を抱き込むように回曲した形態で圧着されており、かつ、圧着されたワイヤバレル23の前縁部では、一対のバレル片23Bの突き合わせ部の対応間隔が拡がった形態とされることにより芯線確認開口部30が形成されている。【選択図】図1 |
