PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill processing machine which can be made compact as a whole.SOLUTION: In a bill processing machine, when a bill is inserted to a bill receiving part 10 provided in a machine body 1, a storage part 30 corresponding to a bill with predetermined conditions stores the bill and when a payment command is issued, the bill fed out from the storage part 30 is transported to a payment cashbox 40 and discharged from a payment port 41. The payment cashbox 40 for collecting bills stored in each storage part 30 when a collection command is issued, is provided to be attached to and detached from the machine body 1 and includes a payment door 43 which opens/closes the payment port 41 and a payment lock part 50 which reaches a lock state of regulating opening of the payment door 43 in a normal state and reaches an unlock state of allowing opening of the payment door 43 when a release operation is performed. The machine body comprises a lock mechanism 60 which, in the case where the payment cashbox 40 is attached to the machine body 1, makes the payment lock part 50 the lock state in the normal state and makes the payment lock part 50 the unlock state when the release command is issued.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 【課題】装置全体の小型化を図ること。【解決手段】装置本体１に設けられた入金部１０に紙幣が投入された場合に、所定の条件を具備する紙幣を該当する収納部３０に収納し、出金指令が与えられた場合には、収納部３０から送出された紙幣を出金庫４０に搬送して出金口４１より排出する紙幣処理装置であって、出金庫４０は、回収指令が与えられた場合に各収納部３０に収納された紙幣を回収するものであって装置本体１に着脱可能に設けられ、出金口４１を開閉する出金扉４３と、常態においては出金扉４３が開くことを規制するロック状態となり、解除操作された場合に出金扉４３が開くことを許容する非ロック状態となる出金ロック部５０とを備え、出金庫４０が装置本体１に装着される場合において、常態においては出金ロック部５０をロック状態にさせ、解除指令が与えられたときには出金ロック部５０を非ロック状態にさせるロック機構部６０を備えている。【選択図】図１２
