Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a smooth operation of a valve body while assuring a sealability of a sliding part at a control valve for a variable displacement compressor.SOLUTION: A control valve of a certain preferred embodiment of this invention comprises: a body including a valve hole connecting a discharging pressure chamber with a crank pressure chamber and a guide hole formed in coaxial with the valve hole; an operation rod 36 slidably supported at the guide hole and provided with a valve body for opening or closing a valve part while being moved to or away from the valve hole; a solenoid to apply a solenoid force in an opening or closing direction of the valve part through the operation rod; and a seal storing part formed between the operation rod 36 and the guide hole for storing a seal member to restrict leakage of refrigerant from a high pressure side to a low pressure side. This invention is configured in such a way that a clearance at the higher pressure side is larger than that of the seal storing part and a clearance at a lower pressure side is larger than that of the seal storing part between the operation rod 36 and the guide hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】可変容量圧縮機用制御弁において摺動部のシール性を確保しつつ、弁体の円滑な作動を維持する。【解決手段】ある態様の制御弁においては、吐出圧力室とクランク圧力室とをつなぐ弁孔と、弁孔と同軸状に形成されるガイド孔と、が設けられるボディと、ガイド孔に摺動可能に支持される一方、弁孔に接離して弁部を開閉する弁体が設けられる作動ロッド36と、弁部の開閉方向のソレノイド力を作動ロッドを介して弁体に作用させるソレノイドと、作動ロッド36とガイド孔との間に形成され、高圧側から低圧側への冷媒の漏洩を規制するシール部材を収容するためのシール収容部と、を備える。作動ロッド36とガイド孔との間において、シール収容部よりも高圧側のクリアランスのほうがシール収容部よりも低圧側のクリアランスよりも大きくなるように構成されている。【選択図】図4
