PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which can discard an unwanted frame if a large amount of frames are received, while suppressing an influence upon speech communication to the minimum.SOLUTION: The communication device includes: communication terminal identification means which is connected to a communication terminal, and receives a frame which is transmitted from the communication terminal, to relay to a network, and based on information included in the reception frame, identifies the communication terminal; frame type determination means which, based on the information, determines whether or not the reception frame type is a target to be discarded; calculation means which calculates the number of discard target reception frames determined to be the discard target frame by the frame type determination means for each communication terminal; and reception frame count threshold determination means which determines whether or not the number of discard target reception frames exceeds a threshold; and discard means which discards the reception frame if the number of discard target reception frames exceeds the threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 多量のフレームを受信した場合においても、通話に与える影響を最小限に抑えつつ、不要なフレームを破棄できる通信装置を提供する。【解決手段】 本発明の通信装置は、通信端末に接続され、該通信端末から送信されるフレームを受信し、ネットワークへ中継し、受信フレームに含まれる情報に基づいて、前記通信端末を識別する通信端末識別手段と、前記情報に基づいて、前記受信フレームの種別が破棄対象か否かを判定するフレーム種別判定手段と、前記通信端末毎に、前記フレーム種別判定手段により破棄対象のフレームと判定された破棄対象受信フレーム数を計数する計数手段と、前記破棄対象受信フレーム数が閾値を超えたか否かを判定する受信フレーム数閾値判定手段と、前記破棄対象受信フレーム数が閾値を超えた場合に、前記受信フレームを破棄する破棄手段とを有することを特徴とする。【選択図】 図１
