Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrode structure having a high capacity and a long life, in which the increase in electrode resistance and the reduction in a discharge capacity owing to the repetition of charge and discharge are suppressed; a power storage device; and a method for manufacturing the electrode structure.SOLUTION: An electrode structure for a power storage device comprises an active material, a conductive auxiliary material, a binder and a current collector. The binder includes a graft polymer, in which a trunk polymer portion is formed by a water-soluble polymer, and a branch polymer portion of the graft polymer is formed by a conductive polymer. In a power storage device, the electrode structure is used for a negative electrode and/or a positive electrode. A method for manufacturing the electrode structure comprises the steps of: preparing a slurry by mixing at least an active material, a conductive auxiliary material, a water-soluble polymer, a solvent of the water-soluble polymer, monomers which polymerize into a conductive polymer, a crosslinking agent and/or a polymerization initiator; and coating a current collector with the slurry, followed by polymerization and drying thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: None
