Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for housing capable of obtaining high strength and electronic equipment using the member for housing.SOLUTION: A member 10 for housing is configured by joining a frame portion 32 formed from a thermoplastic resin to at least a part of an outer end face 30a of a laminated plate 30 having an intermediate layer 42 arranged between a pair of fiber-reinforced resin plates 40 and 41. In the member 10 for housing, a thermoplastic resin constituting the frame portion 32 extends to the surface of the laminated plate 30, a hole portion 46 is provided on the surface of the laminated plate 30 covered with the extending thermoplastic resin, and the member for housing has an anchor portion 48 in which a thermoplastic resin enters into the hole portion 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】高い強度を得ることができる筐体用部材及び該筐体用部材を用いた電子機器を提供する。【解決手段】筐体用部材１０は、一対の繊維強化樹脂板４０，４１の間に中間層４２を配設した積層板３０の外形端面３０ａの少なくとも一部に熱可塑性樹脂からなるフレーム部３２を接合した構成とされている。この筐体用部材１０では、フレーム部３２を構成する熱可塑性樹脂が積層板３０の表面まで延在しており、この延在した熱可塑性樹脂で覆われた積層板３０の表面には穴部４６が設けられると共に、穴部４６に熱可塑性樹脂が入り込んだアンカー部４８を有する。【選択図】図４
