Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of MSE type zeolite capable of manufacturing the MSE type zeolite with a relatively short heating time by using inexpensive tetraethylammonium ion.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of MSE type zeolite including (1) mixing a silica source, an alumina source, an alkali source, tetraethylammonium ion and water to prepare a reaction mixture with a composition represented by a molar ratio described as SiO/AlO=10-100, (NaO+KO)/SiO=0.15-0.50, KO/(NaO+KO)=0.05-0.7, TEAO/SiO=0.08-0.20, HO/SiO=5-50, (2) adding MSE type zeolite seed crystal to the mixture at a ratio of 5-30 mass% based on the silica component and (3) heating the reaction mixture to which the seed crystal is added at a temperature of 100-200°C under a sealed condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】安価なテトラエチルアンモニウムイオンを用いて、比較的短い加熱時間でMSE型ゼオライトを製造できるMSE型ゼオライトの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】(1)以下に示すモル比で表される組成の反応混合物となるように、シリカ源、アルミナ源、アルカリ源、テトラエチルアンモニウムイオン及び水を混合し、SiO2/Al2O3=10〜100、(Na2O+K2O)/SiO2=0.15〜0.50、K2O/(Na2O+K2O)=0.05〜0.7、TEA2O/SiO2=0.08〜0.20以下、H2O/SiO2=5以上50以下、(2)MSE型ゼオライト種結晶を、シリカ成分に対して5〜30質量%の割合で該混合物に添加し、(3)前記種結晶が添加された前記反応混合物を100〜200℃の温度で密閉下に加熱する、MSE型ゼオライトの製造方法。【選択図】図8
