PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleanness of a filter of a lint capture part having a double structure.SOLUTION: A clothing drier according to this embodiment comprises: a storage tub, which is formed in a main body and stores clothing; a hot air supplier, which circulates and supplies hot air through a dry air channel into the storage tub; a lint capture part, which is disposed in the dry air channel and has a filter for capturing the lint; and a filter cleaning mechanism, which implements a cleaning operation to scrape out the lint accumulated on the filter by moving a cleaning member along a front face of the filter. The filter of the lint capture part has a double structure formed of a main filter and a backup filter.
