PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dryer capable of further improving a hairdressing effect.SOLUTION: A hair dryer 10 includes a notification part 51 for notifying a user of a state of hair H, a timer 54 for counting drying time of the hair H, and a calculation part 53 for calculating output to the notification part 51 based on an output result output from a hair temperature measuring part 52. The calculation part 53 calculates a target temperature at which the hair H is to be heated on the basis of the drying time counted by the timer 54, determines whether or not the temperature measured by the hair temperature measuring part 52 has reached the target temperature based on the output result output from the hair temperature measuring part 52, and controls the output to the notification part 51 based on whether or not the temperature of the heated hair H has reached the target temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】整髪効果をより向上させることのできるヘアドライヤを得る。【解決手段】ヘアドライヤ１０は、毛髪Ｈの状態を報知する報知部５１と、毛髪Ｈの乾燥時間をカウントするタイマ５４と、毛髪温度測定部５２から出力された出力結果に基づき、報知部５１への出力を演算する演算部５３と、を備えている。そして、演算部５３が、タイマ５４によりカウントされた乾燥時間に基づいて、加熱すべき目標温度を演算し、毛毛髪温度測定部５２から出力された出力結果に基づいて、毛髪温度測定部５２により測定された温度が目標温度に達したか否かを判定し、加熱された毛髪Ｈの温度が目標温度に達したか否かに基づき、報知部５１への出力を制御している。【選択図】図８
