Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a total organic carbon measurement device and a total organic carbon measurement method with which it is possible to realize measurement with high accuracy by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A preprocessing control unit 112 stores a sample and an acid solution in the barrel of a syringe 3, and closes up the opening of the barrel. The preprocessing control unit 112 retracts a plunger from inside the barrel of the syringe 3 and thereby reduces the pressure in the barrel, causing the sample and the acid solution to react and generating carbon dioxide. A reaction control unit 111 causes the plunger to enter the barrel to introduce the sample in the barrel into each of a TC combustion unit 4 and an IC reaction unit. Thus, a preprocess for reacting the sample and the acid solution in the syringe 3 and generating carbon dioxide is carried out in a total organic carbon measurement device 1. Furthermore, the preprocess is carried out in the syringe 3 without bubbling the sample. 【課題】簡易な構成で、高い精度での測定を実現できる全有機体炭素測定装置及び全有機体炭素測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】前処理制御部112は、シリンジ3のバレル内に試料及び酸溶液を貯留させ、バレルの開口部を閉塞させる。前処理制御部112は、シリンジ3のバレル内からプランジャを退避させることにより、バレル内を減圧して、試料と酸溶液とを反応させて、二酸化炭素を発生させる。反応制御部111は、バレル内にプランジャを進入させて、バレル内の試料を、TC燃焼部4及びIC反応部のそれぞれに導入させる。このように、全有機体炭素測定装置1では、シリンジ3において、試料と酸溶液とを反応させて二酸化炭素を発生させる前処理が行われる。また、シリンジ3では、試料に対して、バブリングすることなく前処理が行われる。そのため、簡易な構成で、高い精度での測定を実現できる。【選択図】 図2 |
