Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb efficiently an impact load by a side member at the time of a front collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A side member 16, an upper frame 18, and a spring house 20 are arranged at both sides in a vehicle width direction of a front space 14. The upper frame 18 protrudes to a front side of the vehicle from a dash panel 12, and is positioned above the side member 16. The spring house 20 is provided at a front side of the vehicle of the dash panel 12, and is provided over the side member 16 and the upper frame 18. A cowl top 26 is provided between the upper frames 18 at both the sides in the vehicle width direction at the front side of the vehicle of the dash panel 12. A brace 28 whose an upper end is jointed to the cowl top 26 and a lower end is jointed to a portion 1602 of the side member 16 positioned closer to the front side of the vehicle than the cowl top 26 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】車両の前面衝突時にサイドメンバにより衝撃荷重を効率よく吸収させる。【解決手段】前部空間14の車幅方向両側に、サイドメンバ16と、アッパフレーム18と、スプリングハウス20とが配置されている。アッパフレーム18は、ダッシュパネル12から車両前方に突出しサイドメンバ16の上方に位置している。スプリングハウス20は、ダッシュパネル12の車両前方に設けられサイドメンバ16とアッパフレーム18とにわたって設けられている。カウルトップ26が、ダッシュパネル12の車両前方で車幅方向両側のアッパフレーム18間に設けられている。上端がカウルトップ26に、下端がカウルトップ26よりも車両前方に位置するサイドメンバ16の箇所1602に接合されたブレース28が設けられている。【選択図】図1
