Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication wire reduced in its diameter, while securing a required characteristic impedance value.SOLUTION: Provided is a communication wire 1 which includes a paired twisted wire 10 in which a pair of insulated wires 11, 11, each formed with a conductor 12 whose tensile strength is 400 MPa or more and an insulation coating 13 that covers the outer periphery of the conductor 12, are twisted. The characteristic impedance is within a range of 100±10 Ω, and a difference between the electrostatic capacitances of the insulated wires constituting the paired twisted wire 10 is 25 pF/m or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
